The air quality in our homes and workplaces plays a vital role in maintaining health and well-being. However, problems such as poor ventilation, dampness, mould, and insufficient heating are common and can lead to serious health issues and financial burdens. Vulnerable groups, particularly children and the elderly, are most at risk, facing consequences that include respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, allergies, and even negative effects on mental health.

vytalair offers a cutting-edge, data-driven solution for healthier home and office environments. We redefine indoor living with precision-engineered sensors, operating 24/7, that safeguard and enhance the quality of every breath.
Leveraging advanced technology along with our extensive experience in operational management, vytalair takes a preventative approach to mitigating health risks associated with poor indoor air quality, such as contaminants (pollutants, allergens, bacteria), poor ventilation, moisture, and the spread of airborne viruses.
Proactive, cloud-based monitoring with real-time data collection on key metrics such as temperature, humidity, dew point, and air quality ensures early detection and intervention, reducing costs and improving tenant well-being.
This data is available to landlords and property managers via a portal and mobile app, allowing for quick access to vital information and alerts.
With the introduction of Awaab’s Law, identifying and addressing issues early is crucial. Landlords and housing authorities will be able make informed decisions, saving time and resources on maintenance and reducing unnecessary operational costs.
Using vytalair, landlords and homeowners can detect potential issues and comply with Awaab’s Law before they escalate, whether addressing ventilation problems, educating tenants on healthy practices, or scheduling cost-effective repairs. When conditions fall outside predefined thresholds, alerts are triggered and sent via text, email, or app, enabling proactive management and early intervention.
With sensor technology, we provide immediate feedback to address irregularities. Prevent crises with real-time alerts. Staying informed of critical changes or events 24/7 via text, email, web portal or the app (both android and iOS) ensures rapid responses and timely interventions.

Maintaining a healthy home environment provides significant economic advantages. By preventing dampness and moisture-related problems, landlords can allocate resources more efficiently, lower repair expenses, and ensure high-quality living conditions. Proactive management also improves air quality, supports residents’ health and well-being, reduces maintenance costs, and minimizes the likelihood of legal disputes.
vytalair employs cutting-edge sensors to continuously monitor, collect, and report real-time environmental data. Using advanced algorithms, it delivers valuable insights into air quality, ventilation performance, and other key metrics. With precise and timely information at their fingertips, landlords and homeowners can make informed decisions and take proactive steps to ensure a healthy and comfortable living environment.
Ultimately, it is now more important than ever for landlord to take a proactive approach to repairs. Under Awaab’s Law, landlords must address emergency health and safety issues within 24 hours. At a time when resources are already tightly stretched, this can be very challenging, so vytalair that can provide alerts to focus resource deployment whilst providing audit trails is a significant step forward in risk management.
Landlords are legally required to keep rental properties free from hazards like damp and mould, and tenants can take action if standards aren’t met. Over the past year, cases have surged in UK courts, with major law firms focusing on this area, and the resulting fines and legal defences are adding financial pressure on landlords.
The vytalair sensors are wireless, solar-powered, and ultra-low power, making them both easy to install and low-maintenance. Operating 24/7, the system continuously monitors the environmental conditions in rooms or zones within a property, automatically logging data for full accountability.
Tired of juggling paperwork, rising costs, and dealing with the increased legislation? The vytalair solution makes running your organisation simpler, smarter, and more profitable.
Deliver better outcomes for your clients, free your team to focus on other aspects, and stand out in a crowded market – all with technology that’s easy to implement and proven to work.
The NHS spends over £895 million annually treating conditions caused by cold, damp homes. Housing issues lead to reduced productivity, increased social care costs and preventable illnesses. Social housing tenants are increasingly pursuing legal claims against landlords, incurring significant legal costs.

The NAPpad was developed with the Salvation Army, local authorities, specialist manufacturer Protectal and, crucially, people with lived experience of rough sleeping. It consisted of pop-up style accommodation integrated with the vytalsign and vytalair sensors.
From Rough Sleeping to Recovery: Former NAPpad Residents Share Their Story at Parliament
Parliament, Westminster – 2 July 2025 (https://www.salvationarmy.org.uk/news/parliament-event-hears-benefits-pop-nappad-accommodation)
Two former rough sleepers, Tony and Thomas, were welcomed to Parliament this week by Rachael Maskell MP for York Central, where the NAPpad was initially piloted, to share their personal journeys.
The NAPpad’s success led vytalsign to join the Health Inequality Catalyst, a national initiative led by Lancaster University, the NHS, and housing experts to explore how technology can improve health in the UK’s most deprived communities.
This work led to vytalair, which helps landlords and tenants comply with Awaab’s Law by providing early warnings and enabling rapid, transparent responses to housing hazards. Under the new regulations, landlords must address emergency health and safety issues within 24 hours. Poor ventilation, damp, mould, and underheating drive serious health inequalities and systemic costs. Proactive, contactless sensing can support early intervention, improve housing quality, and enhance health outcomes across the UK.
vytalair’s intuitive interface simplifies navigation, providing exception alerts and real-time data insights on a web portal or app, (Android and Apple). Customisable notifications enhance operational efficiency, ensuring users remain informed and responsive.
With vytalair’s intelligent sensing technology, your home or office evolves into a sanctuary of wellbeing and effortless comfort. Our state-of-the-art sensors integrate effortlessly, delivering precise environmental insight with understated sophistication.
